Amazingly deep orange citrine crystal field. Citrine is naturally formed when hydrous iron oxide is present in the formation of quartz, giving it wonderful tones from pale yellow to deep orange. Citrine can also be made from pale amethyst crystals by heating them. This beautiful specimen is a heated amethyst from Brazil.
